Community and county leaders in and around Mead, Kearney, Grand Island, O’Neill, Beatrice, and Columbus will be taking on big issues such as water quality and quantity, economic development, energy resources, transportation, access to technology, and more as the Nebraska Sustainability Leadership Workshops visit these communities. Water, infrastructure, housing & maintaining a vibrant community to be topics at Columbus NSLW workshop
Community and county leaders in and around Columbus will be taking on big issues such as water quality, deteriorating water and sewer lines, the need for affordable housing, and ways of growing and maintaining a vibrant community, as the Nebraska Sustainability Leadership Workshop meets in Columbus on February 12 and 13. City and county leaders from Columbus, David City, Shelby, Stanton, Albion, Howells and Platte Center, among others will attend the workshop. Invitations are being sent to leaders in and around the region this week. The workshop is being held at the Platte County Extension Office. Download the press release here. >
